A song about leaving home, literally or metaphorically, to venture into the unknown - expressing the poignant tension between the familiarity of home and the need to step out of the comfort zone, to do what has to be done. A call to bravery and hope. This is a compelling track which takes you on a journey to the heart of what matters in life.

New track ‘Insects’ is full of emotionally charged lyrics, twinkly tippy-tappy guitar and raw energy. WIth the new single, Blame Yourself prove they are a band that invite you in, and show you a good time.
Marc Bird - ‘Mother Mother’
Hailing from the quaint Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge, Marc Bird has released ‘Mother Mother’, the second single to be taken from new album Parting, set to be released late in 2022. With guest drums by Viktor Lundahl, this song is part autobiographical, about a lost love Marc had when he was 16, intertwined with the story of the flooding of the towns of Measand and Mardale Green, when a dam was built to create Hawswater Reservoir in the Lake District in 1929.
Bridget Kelly Quinn - ‘Please Stay’
Taken as the first single from Bridget Kelly Quinn’s debut album Dead Flowers, 'Please Stay' is a track about depression and anxiety. Written from personal experiences and inspired from the epidemic of young men committing suicide. The track is about listening to each other and saying I hear you and I'm here, with the overall theme of the album is about one another more. Bridget doesn’t claim to have all the answers, but feels that more than ever we need to respect we might not see eye to eye but we must be mindful of each other’s feelings and emotions.
Hannah Robinson - ‘nineteen’
The Gateshead-based singer Hannah Robinson has released ‘nineteen’, a melancholic dream pop-driven track from the songwriter and guitarist. The track brings melancholic indie vibes combined with hypnotic vocals and addictive guitar riffs. The story behind 'nineteen' takes you through the journey of her youth; a lost teenager, longing to find her way home. “As the age of nineteen approached I found myself hidden behind the face of someone who appeared to be happy and sociable, however inside I was struggling to ground myself and completely lost track of who I was. Feeling like an imposture in my own mind and amongst others, going out and partying became the answer to everything; it felt like a safety blanket to protect me from my problems.”
