Liverpool Sound City Announce First Acts in Line-Up for 2020
The first acts for the 2020 Liverpool Sound City have been announced, which takes place between the 1st-3rd May next year.
Pale Waves have been revealed as the festival’s first headliner, with the Manchester band joining the likes of Peace, Loyle Carner and DMA’s, who have all headlined in recent years.
Tim Burgess of The Charlatans has also been announced alongside The Blinders, who released their debut album ‘Colombia’ in 2018 to critical acclaim.
Northerners are very well represented in the first wave of acts announced, with Wigan band The Lathums and Greater Manchester’s Lottery Winners amongst those unveiled so far.
Hometown artists announced include The Mysterines and singer-songwriter Jamie Webster, whose excellent new single ‘Weekend In Paradise’ dropped yesterday.
It’s shaping up to be an incredible weekend next May, especially given there are still hundreds of acts still to be announced. Tickets are on sale now.
