Liverpool band SPQR have released their latest single ‘Just Sumfin’.

The new track is an exhibition in lead singer Peter Harrison’s lyrical growth - as he takes the listener on a journey, touching on darker themes such as depression and guilt.

‘Just Sumfin’ is the first track to be taken from the art-rock band’s new EP, which is due to land this spring.

The four-track EP - ‘No Brain, No Pain’ - mixed by Alex Quinn (The Blinders, She Drew The Gun), will be their first project since 2019’s ‘Low Sun, Long Shadows’ and is set to be released on 30th April 2020 via Nuthin Gud Records.

It will be the first release on the band’s newly established label, announced last year alongside a single of the same name.

Having recently sold out back-to-back residencies at the Kazimier Stockroom in Liverpool, the band will be supporting SHEAFS in the next month ahead of several festival appearances this summer.

This will include appearances at the Liverpool Sound City Festival and Newcastle’s Hit the North.

You can pre-order the new EP now.
