The Lathums Sign Massive Deal With Island Records

Wigan band The Lathums have signed a huge new deal with Island Records.

The deal is reported to be for seven-figure deal which will keep the band with the label across multiple albums.

Speaking on the potentially ground-breaking new relationship with Island, the band said:

“To all of our amazing fans and to everyone who believed in us from the start. This is just the beginning. Time to put guitar music back where it belongs.”

The news has arrived a few days before The Lathums are due to release their new EP ‘Fight On’ - which will be released this Friday.

The new project will feature the already released title track and ‘I Know That Much’ - which we reviewed when it dropped late last year.

The Wiganers will be supporting Blossoms on their UK tour starting in London on 18th March - before joining at several other dates including Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Hull.

The band will then play Liverpool Sound City and Hit The North this summer before an already sold-out show at Gorilla on 29th May.
