The Orielles have released their latest single ‘Space Samba (Disco Volador Theme)’, taken from their upcoming album ‘Disco Volador’.

The new track will close out the new album, with the band saying how the latest single “is about corporeal experience, something which we are collectively losing sight of in an age of mental existentialism”.

The track has already received support from BBC 6 Music, with Lauren Laverne premiering ‘Space Samba (Disco Volador Theme)’ earlier this week.

Speaking on why this track was the ‘theme’ for the entire album, the band told fans “it relates to the entire phenomenological thread of the whole album, which tackles the many interpretations of the title throughout”.

It is only the second track to be released from the upcoming project, with the album opener ‘Come Down On Jupiter’ released last Autumn.

‘Disco Volador’ will be released on February 28th and is the follow-up to the band’s critically acclaimed debut album ‘Silver Dollar Moment’.
