Single Review: Eden Rain - Out In The Cold

London based, Leeds born, singer Eden Rain has just dropped her second single ‘Out In The Cold’.

When asked about ‘Out In The Cold’, Eden Rain said “My main hobby is overthinking so this is… on steroids. This song is sort of the sound of me leaving home and walking around in the world with the knowledge that I carry my own responsibilities”

The track showcases Eden’s stunning vocals accompanied by a beautiful piano melody while the personal lyrics narrate the emotional journey of a couple that couldn’t survive long-distance. 

Interestingly the music video for the track was crafted by Eden herself. It shows a bus journey between different cities and notably some iconic spots from across the world, illustrated by her own art.

The unique view of glancing through the window of a bus, as if we are the person being driven away from our loved one, takes us along on her adventure. It makes us feel like we are part of the video. She also created the video for her debut single “Wake Up, You’re Stuck” which was released last month.

Eden has shown us that she is equally talented at both singing and drawing. One thing's for certain, Eden Rain is one to watch out for this year.
