Single Review: Paris Youth Foundation - Late Night Lost Love

The positive energy of Paris Youth Foundation’s new song, ‘Late Night Lost Love’, has really set alight our excitement for their upcoming debut album. The band formed in Liverpool in 2016 and have managed to encapsulate in this new single all the elements of a melancholic, indie-pop summer anthem.

From the emotional lyrics that resonate with relatability, to the glistening guitars and heady melodies, it’s hard not to fall in love with this sentimental track. The lyrics of Late Night Lost Love successfully capture the typical behaviour of masking our feelings of weakness and sadness following a break-up. Speaking on the lyrics, Kevin Potter said: “Late Night Lost Love is a story that will mean a lot to others, about fixation, heartbreak and resolution.”
