DOVES Confirmed for Lindisfarne Festival’s 10th Anniversary Edition
Lindisfarne Festival has unveiled its final headline act for 2025, with Manchester indie giants DOVES set to top the bill on Friday night. The news marks a major moment for the North East’s beloved boutique weekender, as it prepares to celebrate ten years on the stunning shores of Northumberland.
Taking place over the August bank holiday (28–31 August), Lindisfarne has steadily built a reputation for pairing awe-inspiring scenery with an eclectic, high-energy lineup. This year is no different — and with DOVES stepping into the spotlight, expectations have officially gone sky high.
The trio will headline the Shorefields Main Stage following the release of their latest album Constellations For The Lonely, a record that’s already drawn praise for its sweeping scope and cinematic depth. It’s a return that feels both timely and meaningful — and for festival organisers, a perfect fit.
“This year’s about reflection, celebration, and looking ahead,” said festival rep Debbie Travis-Waller. “DOVES capture all of that. Their music speaks directly to the spirit of the weekend.”
Also confirmed for 2025: dance legend Armand Van Helden, Liverpool’s Jamie Webster, The Waterboys, and space-rock veterans Hawkwind. The undercard features indie favourites The Fratellis, The Lottery Winners, Scouting For Girls, and over 150 more acts spanning genre and geography.
Held on Beal Farm, with views across to Holy Island, Lindisfarne offers more than music. The four-day event blends late-night raves, sunrise yoga, beatboxing battles, dog-friendly antics and even harp-backed drill beats (yes, really). Comedy, spoken word, wellness sessions and secret sets are all part of the mix too.
