Single Review: Frantics - All That's On My Mind
Indie-rock band Frantics have released their latest single ‘All That’s On My Mind’ this week, and it is something tunefully different for this York-based band.
Whilst their previous singles ‘Beehive’ and ‘End of the Line’, both released last year, were abrasive and punchy, with an air of happy chaos about them, this new track is more likely to make you sway and stick your arms in the air. It is one of those tracks where, upon listening to it, you feel very much like the main character in the film of your life.
Reminiscent of classic Stone Roses tracks, “Made of Stone” springs to mind when this track comes on. The band are admittedly big Roses fans, with singer Joe Collins having worked in a bar dedicated to them in York during his university days.
Frantics have some exciting things to come, and have been recording new material this month, for release later this year. Follow their social media handles and take a listen to ‘All That’s On My Mind’ on our Spotify playlist.
