New track ‘Channel High’ adds another smash to Renee Stormz’s already impressive releases so far, with an easy going and undeniably catchy beat highlighting her ability to create really infectious tracks. AltoSounds joins Stormz as producer and feature, breaking up Renee’s impressive verses with his melodic 3-line chorus and smooth vocals - which helps to build the unforgettable rhythm of the song. As Renee described on social media the single gives off ‘peaceful vibes, inter dimensional vibes and alto frequency vibes’ which perfectly illustrates the personality of the song.

While the single is incredible in its own right, the accompanying video ties in perfectly with the laid-back tone of the track with a fun and light-hearted concept. You’re able to grasp a real sense of community between Renee, AltoSounds and their companions as they’re seen smoking and dancing together on the beach. It’s also the subtleties of the video that give off a sense of who Renee Stormz is as an artist and what she stands for, with a huge graffiti signature of George Floyd seen in the background for most of the video.

Renee Stormz effortless lyricism and flow reminiscent of that of spoken word poetry, she describes how she has found peace within herself while encouraging her listeners to ‘love yourself, there ain’t no other like you’. As she stated on Instagram ‘we make music because we are in love with sound’ which is blindingly obvious in this recent single. With new EP Ore Mi coming out soon, we can’t wait to hear the future sounds from Renee Stormz.
