With 172,014 monthly listeners on Spotify, charting #14 in the official album charts, and #2 in the vinyl charts it is clear that The Lathums are on the brink of something great. The Wigan based, alternative fourpiece have now dropped their newest single All My Life, the first release since they were signed by Island Records in March.

The new single is accompanied by a video shot on super 8 film in their hometown. Frontman and song writer, Alex Moore commented on the message behind his lyrics; “The message of the song is significant for me, it was borne out of desperation, pain and anger. I am not sure why. I had already had a lot of life experience by then, I was and still feel like an old head on young shoulders”.

Fans have been anticipating the band’s next chapter and with this new track - their first new release post-lockdown - we are starting to see the first glimpse of the Wigan band’s next steps. ‘All My Life’ continues to illustrate why The Lathums are one of the most exciting young bands in the country.

With nostalgic, romantic, and thought-provoking lyrics, All My Life combines The Lathums’ optimistic melodies with Moore’s captivating vocals.  It appears that The Lathums will continue to enjoy the rapid rise to the top of the music scene that they have experienced thus far, and I personally cannot wait to see what they release next.
